Wild Roots

A nature-based program focused on nurturing children and creating a community mindset as they discover and conceptualize the world around them.

Our mission

With every day spent immersing children in nature, they develop an understanding and respect for the world around them. We strive to develop each child individually while promoting a community of learners by utilizing mixed-age groups and educated, dedicated, nurturing educators. Our group of educators focus on supporting children and guiding them through positive reinforcement and responsive teaching. Mixed-age groups promote learning through peer-to-peer interactions while encouraging children to be conscientious of people around them.

Wild Roots serves ages 6 weeks through 5 years.

More about our program

Our program exists within our home and on our property. We have a unique opportunity to provide a cozy, nurturing setting that helps children feel secure and comfortable in a home like environment with the resources of a larger center. This is the perfect way to transition children from home to school.

Our program offers mixed-age groups which encourages compassion and development through the guidance of older children. Mixed-age groups naturally create a family dynamic. Our caregivers stay with the same children as they grow and develop. Consistent caregivers create relationships with in-depth connections, enabling us to best tend to each child’s needs, learning style, and personalities. We are able to customize daily learning to each child’s interests and developmental levels.

Our small groups build close relationships with families as well. Everyday parents are given the opportunity to talk to providers, learn about their children’s day and raise any questions or concerns that are on their mind.

We are incredibly lucky to live in this wonderful community, in this unbelievable location. All we want is to share it with as many people as possible.
