Repurposed wood helped us to create a mud kitchen with a “dining area”, a small raised bed garden and a balance beam with stepping stones. We still have left over material and are very excited about the prospect of additional play areas for Spring of 2025.

While we pride ourselves on our daily walks and exploration of the land, it is also essential for the children to have an area for open ended play. The large fenced in area allows children to explore their interests, participate in group activities, dramatic play and so much more. This is a prime opportunity to grow their gross motor skills and work on their social/emotional interactions.
